A library shaped around daylight, shared learning and the experience of studying.

My graduating library project explored the relationship between daylight and the quality of study spaces. The design considers how light, shade and a connection to the outdoors can support concentration, comfort and student well-being.

The proposal brings reading spaces, circulation and shared areas into a sequence of different spatial experiences. Terraces, planted courts and carefully framed openings connect the interior with its surroundings, while sections and physical models test how light moves through the building.

This project brought together research and design at an important point in my architectural education. It continues to inform my interest in the relationship between buildings and human experience.
