Community Hub

A shared place for learning, exchange and engagement with science.

The Community Hub brings spaces for learning, scientific exchange, recreation and gathering into a compact building. Developed as a student project, it asks how a university-related programme can become more inviting to the wider city.

A tilted volume, an accessible forecourt and internal courtyards structure the proposal. Cuts and openings in the building introduce light and ventilation, while the entrance and roof landscape extend the programme into shared outdoor space.
