Markets for All: first prize

Developed with Teddy Mbingo, our Karatina market proposal won first prize in the Markets for All competition in November 2023. The project was also presented at Kenya Innovation Week.

The work began with the relationship between everyday trading and accessibility. Its proposals address movement, adaptable stalls, storage and shared facilities within an existing market.

The recognition belongs to a collaborative process grounded in how a market is used.
